Recently, I’ve come to understand what an immense honor this work is. To be a stranger invited to one of the most intimate and meaningful days of your life. To be the first person to hug you after you get engaged. To sometimes be the only soul on earth witnessing your elopement vows. That realization humbled me most profoundly—and it’s a responsibility I carry with gratitude every single time I pick up my camera.
